 STEVEDORE STRIKE CONVENED FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE 2017
 A strike began this Monday June 05th in all Spanish Ports, in protest against the liberalization of the current stevedores recruitment announced by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
The strike will take place the following days during uneven hours from 08:00 hours to 08:00 hours of the next morning:

 The strike will continue until Friday June 23rd, if an agreement between the labor unions and employers, is not achieved. During the even hours, according to State Ports, the workers will operate as usual.
In Algeciras, Barcelona, Valencia, Vigo and Basque Country, the strike went on without incidents, with respect and punctuality of all minimum services but with a severe economical impact to companies and terminals causing the diversion of vessels to nearer ports in other countries. Notwithstanding, the strike will have little impact to workers, who can double their shift the next day, according to spokespersons.

 CONVOCADA HUELGA DE ESTIBADORES DURANTE MES DE JUNIO DE 2017
 El dÃa Lunes 5 de Junio, comenzó una huelga en todos los puertos de España para protestar contra la liberalización del sistema actual de contratación de los estibadores portuarios anunciada por el Ministerio de Fomento.
La huelga tendrá lugar durante las horas impares desde las 08:00 horas hasta las 08:00 horas de la mañana siguiente, durante estas fechas:
Lunes 5 de Junio                Miércoles 7 de Junio              Viernes 9 de Junio
  Lunes 19 de Junio               Miércoles 21 de Junio            Viernes 23 de Junio
Desde las 08:00 horas del miércoles 14 de junio hasta las 08:00 horas del viernes 16 de junio: 48 horas de huelga ininterrumpidas
La huelga está prevista hasta el dÃa viernes 23 de junio si no se llega a un acuerdo entre sindicatos y patronal. En las horas pares, según confirmaron desde Puertos del Estado, los trabajadores operarán con normalidad.
En Algeciras, Barcelona, Valencia, Vigo y PaÃs Vasco la huelga transcurrió sin incidentes, con respeto y puntualidad a los servicios mÃnimos; aunque según algunos portavoces con graves consecuencias económicas para las empresas y terminales, que provocarán el desvÃo de buques a otros puertos de paÃses cercanos. No obstante la huelga tendrá poco impacto para los trabajadores que perderán poco dinero pudiendo doblar turno al dÃa siguiente, según señalan algunos portavoces.
